The Economic Fighters League necessarily condemns the use of state organ BNI (NIB) for the interest of corrupt politicians.
BNI was sleeping when our daughters were going missing in Takoradi.
BNI was sleeping when our brother Ahmed Suale was killed following dangerous statements made by the corrupt Kennedy Agyapong.
BNI was sleeping when corrupt former president Mahama received bribes from non-Ghanaian contractors.
Sleeping on missing state funds. Sleeping on stolen state land. Sleeping on galamsey. Sleeping on corruption.
BNI, a state organ, is silent, dormant, missing whenever matters of national interest are on the table, but have suddenly awakened at the call of their master summoning them to defend his name.
A state organ has been reduced to private security for political charlatans, chasing after men for their words while corruption is losing the Ghanaian People their homes, their livelihoods, their lives.
In functional nations, National Intelligence agencies are mandated to protect human security of nationals. Ghanaians must ask what relevance the BNI truly has if their main interest is the protection of corrupt individuals.
Furthermore, in this rotten system under the 1992 Sakawa Constitution, the same state persecuting Captain Smart for statements can only investigate and prosecute its corrupt president 10 years after that corrupt president leaves office.
Yet again corrupt Akufo-Addo, like his corrupt brother Mahama before him and their corrupt party elders before them, has shown us that power has been stolen from the People of Ghana.
What will the People of Ghana do?
We must RISE!

Fighter John Koomson
